What you’ll do

Making sure that the medical records program is well maintained, and complaint is a big deal, and you’ll make sure that we’re exceeding compliance standards! Specifically, we will look to you to maintain current and accurate records, advise on federal and state medical record laws, assist in developing procedures to make sure records are properly assembled, coded, signed, and indexed before filing, and provide clerical support for the nursing leadership team. You’ll also be an EMR expert!

What it takes

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an approve course for medical records technology
• One year of medical records experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting required
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
